Brady Says Controversy Is Overblown

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says too much is being made out of the "Video Gate" controversy involving his head coach Bill Belichick.  Brady says that everybody is out to get the Patriots and that's one of the reasons for this.

Brady was on a Charlotte radio station this afternoon and you would never know the seriousness of the controversy by listening to Brady.

He said he doesn’t know what to say about the controversy.  According to the All-Pro QB everybody wants them to lose.  He said even rules have been changed against them to get them to lose.  Brady said it's all ridiculous and blown out of proportion.

Tom says all the issues with Jets are because so many players have played for both teams.

Brady went on to say that they made a lot of mistakes on Sunda and should be able to improve as the season continues.   He believes the speed of his new receivers will allow them to open the field up vertically, and allow them not to rely as much on 3rd downs.

Brady said Randy Moss is a great teammate.  In fact he said he thinks so highly of Moss that he voted for him to be a team captain.  According to Brady, Moss is  smart and competitive.  He says he hasn't seen any of the behavior people have accused Randy of doing.
