New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has been fined $500,000 dollars and the Patriots have been fined $250,000 as well as a number one draft pick if they make the playoffs in 2008.
If the Pats don't make the playoffs in 2008 they will lose a 2nd round and 3rd round pick. The reaction so far has come down on both sides. Some think it is light while others feel its very severe.
Personally I believe the punishment was light. $500,000 dollars is no money to Bill Belichick. $250,000 is chump change for the New England Patriots.
