The Eagles loss to Washington has hit Eagles fans like a sledgehammer. As expected they're disappointed with the offense, namely Donovan McNabb, Reggie Brown and Kevin Curtis.

I agree with you that Mcnabb stunk on Monday, but ive just about had it with are WR they can't get off the Jam. why does keep Andy Reid getting WR who can't play.

You're right. Reid loves to pass but he doesn't acquire quality wide outs.

Is so easy to blame McNabb, and I think he is still rusty and not on his game yet. But, that man has to be perfect all the time. When you receivers are not gettign separation you have to make the perfect throw every time. Not his fault. The Eagles have to get some separation, if that means playing baskett more in the patterns then so be it. Curtis is not getting it done, and I thought he was a burner. He wasn't even getting separation, and I'm not even going to go there with Reggie. These guys are not getting it done.

You've got one article criticizing McNabb for missing open receivers and another one criticizing the receivers for not getting open.
If McNabb could hit the broad side of the barn with any kind of consistency the field would open up for the receivers. Good QBs make their receivers/teams better with accuracy. As it is it seems teams are jamming the receivers at the line and risking the fact that even if they get beat by a couple of steps, McNabb won't be able to put it in the window of opportunity.

I have been a lifelong eagles fan I have seen everything, I remeber when u played and were one of my favorite players, after years of bad losses tonight was the worst. I have put all of my heart and soul into this team, I can no longer defend this organization they do not do whatever it takes to win.
I am very sad right now, and getting ready to burn all of my eagles gear, what should I do, I know u understand my pain. Should I cheer for another team, I cant take heartbreak anymore.

The Eagles look pathetic at the WR position. I believe that the Eagles should trade for Jerry Porter of the Raiders. The Raiders are a rebuilding team so i think that we could trade a 3rd round and a late round pick for him. If the Eagles could somehow get him then we could put Curtis in the slot where he works best. Reggie has done well at the number 2 spot so he could go back there and do fine. The birds could easily cut Greg Lewis cause he is really doing nothing significant for the birds. I am just shocked by how poorly the Eagles receiving game has played these past 2 games.

Sorry hit the enter button by accident but i am sure my point got across. Reid is going to ruin this team by not running the ball and the media will not call him out on it so we we will not win with him as the head coach. How much longer are we going to listen yo his propaganda press conferences before we get it and get him out of here. It is time for Andy to go.

I know Andy's getting very frustrated.
It is half time and frankly I don't care how the game ends because it has become abundantly clear that all the Philadelphia sports teams have the same disease:OVERVALUATION. The Sixers overvalued Iverson for years,the Phillies overvaluated their minor league pitching and other players and the Eagles ownership overvalues Andy Reid who overvalues Jim Johnson, etc.. The offense and defense is so predictable there is no need to film anything. A bad card counter knows what is coming next. Without Westbrook there is no running game, the receivers are terrible, McNabb will never lead them anywhere at this point in his career and the defensive backs look like they just saw a pass for the first time. Win or lose tonight it is going to be a long season leading to nowhere.

At what point does Andy Reid realize that to have a totally dominating team you have to draft totally dominating players. When is the last time the Eagles drafted a #1 Receiver or Line backer. I feel about as bad for McNabb as I did Randall when he was here. I watched Brady last night and sure he's been great, but having Randy Moss out there has got to be a great feeling. McNabb has had that feeling once and that was when he had the good T.O.
