The Eagles gave away a touchdown to the Giants last night when Donovan McNabb was taking the snap and turning to give the ball to Correll Buckhalter when Thomas Tapeh hit the ball.
McNabb fumbled and Buckhalter tried to recover the ball but couldn't get a handle on it. Giants linebacker Kawika Mitchell went down and picked up the ball, then ran it back for a touchdown. Andy Reid threw out the review flag and the refs took another look at it. They missed the call because the picture here shows that Eagles tight end Matt Schobel was in contact with Mitchell when he had his hand and shin on the ground so, he was down by contact. The shin on the and possibly his knee were on the ground. It's close but I think they missed the call.
