The Dysfunctional Eagles

The dysfunction continues for the Eagles.  The coach continues to deny the obvious, that he needs to put the ball on the ground more often and allow the strongest part of the offense, the offensive line and Brian Westbrook to lead the way.

There continues to be a gap between the quarterback and his teammates because the coach won’t dress down his QB in front of the team, the way he does everybody else.  The coach continues to be frustrated with the play of his quarterback who holds the ball too long.

The quarterback continues to feel like he’s been abandoned by his coach and been hung out to dry, because his coach has for years failed to put the quality weapons around him to succeed.  Plus the coach stood by and let him get abused in the Giants game without making any substantial adjustment.

The tight end continues to think about his upcoming contract negotiation more than the routes he needs to run or the blocks he needs to make.  The wide receiver continues to blame his problems on the QB, rather than looking in the mirror at his inability to separate from his defenders.
