Gary: This is just very disappointing!!! Now everyone knows the Eagles have no receivers, no tight end and no threat from a quaterback. I cant understand how the Eagles organization let this get to this level. (I dont want to bring up the Andy Reid situation) but darn, whatelse could it be? Are you convinced that Andy was convinced they needed no top notch receiver, tight end, etc.? If he was convinced, then I think he should go and go NOW!!! Why no pass into the end zone on the final play? A five yard pass to Brown!! Are you kidding me!! (Twelve) 12 men on the filed!!! Stop the pain my brother!! Stop the pain!! I could not watch the entire game and was actually falling asleep. If this is the NFL, we are in trouble. Donovan looked horrible on passing. He threw over heads, behind backs and into the ground. What's up with that? The receivers dropped balls that should have been caught. Very, Very, Very disappointed only because the Eagles attempted to pull the wool over our eyes with this team, but Philly fans are not dopes as they would expect us to be. I guess we need not prepare to get together for Dallas or New England. An in fact, it's over Johnny!!!!
From Tony,Hi G, After 30 years of being an eagles fan, I am thrown in the towel. We stink this organization will never win a super bowl and I am really close of not even going to the redskins game. This is an embarrassment and I truly feel the eagles are done.

G, I agree with what you are saying about Reid having inherited the core of his teams- Troy Vincent, Bobby Taylor, Trotter, Dawkings, Staley from the Ray Rhodes regime, but I think there is a veil of disinformation covering this city about Tom Modrak and his staff because they were just as responsible- if not more than Ray Rhodes (and definately Andy Reid) for the heart of our teams. Somehow Modrak has been swept under the run and Reid gets far too much of the credit for Westbrook, Lito, Sheldon, and Michael Lewis when it was Marc Ross, a member of Modrak's staff who was fired by Reid that had the insight to identify these talents. Reid gutted out the Modrak influence, for his own men and we see the results on the field. No attitude, and even less ability.

Mike Ross is now Director of College Scouting for the Giants and I can't for the life of me understand why Reid would fire the man responsible for the best players currently on his team, but then again I can't understand most of what Andy Reid does.

Really Joe, it sounds like you write with a lot of anger and it's directed at Andy and Donovan. How convenient the QB and the Coach. I agree the draft's have been less than stellar, way less. My pilosophy on that is I think the Eagles draft lineman so high, because they won't be as expensive in the long run. Safeties, besinds Michael Lewis who they let go, they draft them low. It's all relevant, I think the Eagles are Cheap, and they were successful with that philosophy so they stuck to it. Talent wins games. The Eagles need plenty. Get off the Garcia stuff too. That little dink and dunk stuff did plenty for TB yesterday. Let it go. I'm as frustrated as the next person, but the bottom line is, the Eagles need more skill position talent, and they really miss LJ Smith. A true sign of the times, is McNabb is not smiling on the sidelines, he showed his frustration plenty yesterday. What the heck do you want him to do, bite someone's head off. By the way, the playcalling is horrible. And for the record, I hate the Prevent Defense.
