Brian Dawkins practiced today and will start versus the Cowboys. He's not going to play the entire game but will share time with Quintin Mikell who has done an outstanding job of playing in place of Dawk.
Brian practiced today and lined up with the starters. He will be monitored closely by the trainers.
Dawk said he doesn't want to play tentative. He said if he can't play that way he wont' be helping the football team. Dawk said he's not concerned about the fact that he missed training camp and most of the season. He said it's been very difficult to be on the sideline and not being able to play.The road back has been a long one for the All-Pro. He's missed every game since he went down with a stinger against the Redskins in the season's second game. The key is going to be him making it through his first game back and not reinjuring himself in the process. Stay tuned.
