As you would expect most of the GCobb.com readers are angry with the performance of the Eagles last night and they're ready for the Birds to make some changes.

He set the tone for the game with the first turnover, first play of the game.Then he set the tone for the second half with the pick just before half time.
Gary, you have to get a fresh face in all positions. I am also sick and tired of hearing about Jim Johnsons defensive scheme. You can scheme all you want, but if you dont have the players, it's senseless.
How far we've dropped and how fast it came. This just hurts to watch and I can only imagine what the players feel.

From Frank, G – This is a very depressing time to be a Eagles fan. I look back at the teams of the 80's and early 90's and although they didnt win anything and didtn have the talent that this team has they never got out physicaled. Before you would play those team whatever their record was you knew you wre in for a war. I so miss those teams and the swagger. I miss Buddy Ryan. I miss Reggie. I miss Jerome Brown, Andre Waters, Seth Joyner, and of course Garry Cobb. Where has the Eagles swagger gone? I know alot of people keep saying the Andys problem at home are affecting this team , and I agree but I think the same problems have always benn here but we have won in spite of them. When Donavan could run it would allow our pratice squad caliber receievers to get open. We had a good enough D yto vercome our inconsistent offense. Now , without Donavans legs and a depleted D we cant overcome these issues anymore. These issues I speak of is the soft, finesse, attitude Andy Reid's system. His plass play just arent fooling anyone anymore and teeams KNOW he will not try to establish the running game. Take a look last night. All game Dallas was in a dime defense and we still kept tryinh to throw the ball. Reid should be pounding the rock to get them out of it and then threw the ball. John Madden was even satying it. andy has never been good at adjusting during the gamem, but because we have been able to win no one talks about it. Its front and center and ownership needs to do something before this francise is set back for years.
I think its time we gut our coaching staff and get someone in here who would bring back that old Eagles swagger. Someone who will not be married to a flawed soft system and prides themself in tough pysical football.
From LP, G, I'm not the typical McNabb hater but this guy is too stubborn to learn anything. Half of the quarterback pressures were directly related to him holding the ball. Don't get me wrong, I don't think the other QBs are going to fare any better but come on throw the freakin ball away.
The first fumble was all McNabb and the first interception was a dumb rookie mistake. Sad to say this but I am glad we lost. We seriously need to get a lot worse for 2 years and stock pile the draft picks. All three of our division opponents stock piled years of top ten picks. Those picks are making a huge impact.
From Steve, G, I know that what goes up must come down, but I really think it's time for the Eagles to change the way they do things,especially when it comes time for talent evaluation.To hell with this choir boy mentality that they have,they're starting to get beat up by every bad boy on the block.
i'm still sure that the Eagles are going to try & get rid of another talent,Donavan, but what is really needed now is a coaching change & philosophy.One that is more concerned with coaching nasty football players & less concerned with getting rid of talent so that the choir stays in tune.

From Charles, G, Man I'm so glad I don't let the Eagles effect me like that did say 5 years ago. I can watch a game now be dissapointed but not carry it with me on Monday. This team needs something, I don't know what that is, but a change of philosophy is needed. I'm talking offensively and defensively. I think Andy Reid and Jim Johnson have run their course. Everyone wants to blame Donovan. He is what he is… The man is still recovering, but point blank the receivers are horrible. Kevin Kolb is an unknown entity. For goodness sake, he's coming from Houston, the great powerhouse in Texas. Let the season play itself out and then reevaluate. Then judge McNabb. Defensively, the team needs some more attitude. Some hit you in the mouth intesity. I like Mikell… he's aggressive. Scouting report for this week. I'm down here in D.C. can you please tell the Eagles to get ready for the run game. The Skins offense is struggling like the Eagles, they will run the ball, definitely. Get ready.
