Kevin, Hey GCOBB,,, I have a suggestion for the DBACKS. It Starts with Sheldon Brown. He's a very good cover guy, but unlike most CB's he likes to deliver punishing hits. My idea is to draft South Florida's Mike Jenkins (CB)
He's fast,aggressive & RETURNS KICKS. Let him return kicks as a rookie, teach him up at CB & when Dawk is done start Sheldon Brown at safety where he can cover & hit & the young guy Jenkins moves in at starting CB. Or nickle back, which he could do as a rookie. Just a thought. Curious as to your response. Take a look at Jenkins though. He may be available where they pick.
From Charles, G, I totally agree with the drafting of a corner and moving Sheldon Brown to safety. I think Sheldon would make a pretty good free safety. He has been blasting people lately. But my #1 priority is that the Eagles get an Impact #1 WR.
From Gaylen, Andy Reid says that this is primarily a passing offense. he says that having a good qb is essential. Not a problem. If thats the case, why does he NOT put the same emphasis on getting WR's who can run FAST and catch??! Also Reid says that he he drafts for the future. Again, not a problem (sort of). Tell me why he continues to sign and give money to GASPERSON???!! He is never going to start, nor is he going t even threaten anyone with his ability!!!! Get someone in who is a wideout who can return kicks and or punts?! Also I agree with the whole move sheldon to safety thing. I thought that could be a possibility after watching him knock the daylights out of Reggie Bush last year. Keep Up The Good Work!!!
From Matt, Hey G- What are your thoughts on trading for Javon Walker? It shouldn't take much to pry him away from Denver after his injury this season, he no longer wants to play there (http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_7853256), and we had a deal in place with him before Green Bay sent him to Denver to keep him out of the NFC.
I think, if healthy, he could be a great addition to the WR corps and if they want to make Donnie happy, this could be a good way to do it.
