Detroit's big athletic wide receiver Roy Williams may be the guy who the Eagles should go after in a trade to add weapons to the Eagles offense. Reporters in Detroit beleive the Lions are going to trade him because he's going to become a free agent in 2009.
Last year Williams caught 63 passes for 836 yards with 5 touchdowns in 12 games. He has been an All-Pro and is an incredible athlete. The guy is big, phsical and a playmaker in the red zone. He doesn't have the deep speed I would like to see the Birds obtain but he's defintely a difference maker. The year before Williams caught over 80 passes for over 1300 yards with 7 touchdowns.
