Those Green Bay Packers have a bevy of good young football players. They're strong on both the offensive and defensive lines and they've got speed on both sides of the ball with their skill position players. Their offensive line took over the game and dominated the Seahawks
The Seattle pass rush is formidable with Patrick Kearney and Julian Peterson. The Packers pounded the ball on the ground with Ryan Grant running for 201 yards against the Seahawks and that negated the Seattle pass rush. Despite the fact that the Packers have a Hall Of Fame quarterback in Brett Favre, Green Bay put the ball on the ground and went up and down the field against Seattle. Earlier in the season, the Packers were a passing team which threw the ball often. Once Ryan Grant proved he could get the job done, the Packers went to their running game.
Favre did a good job making some plays and staying away from turnovers. He only threw for 172 yards but he didn't turn the ball over. The gutsy quarterback also played under control despite his squad falling behind 14 to nothing. In the past, Brett has thrown away games by taking too many chances. Packer coach Mike McCarthy has done a great job of making Favre change his game to fit the team.
