This year's NFL draft is supposed to be deep in running backs and the Birds need a guy with speed who has good hands to backup Brian Westbrook. Ryan Moats who is coming off an injury can't catch the football well enough to backup BWest.
They won't have to get a guy in the early rounds but can wait until the later rounds to grab a back with good speed, quickness and catching ability. This is a must, so that the Birds will be able to run their same offense. It's got to the point where the Birds can't play without him.
I also want to see them give Tony Hunt a chance to be their short yardage or goalline back. He's big enough but must learn to run lower. .
