Word has reached me that Randy Moss and his agent are having trouble hammering out the details of his contract with the Patriots. They have an agreement on paper but they're having problems with the details.
This doesn't mean Randy is going to bolt the Pats to sign with the Eagles but it does mean he's not officially a New England Patriot just yet. For you business persons out there, you know that you don't have a deal until the signatures are on the contract.
I'm going to dig into this deeper and try to find out if maybe Randy's starting to open up the possibility of playing for somebody other than the Patriots.
If he were to come to the Eagles he would fit in Philly because he feels just like Eagles fans when it comes to the Super Bowl. You saw him lose the February contest in the last minute. You also know that he just missed going to the Super Bowl with Minnesota because of a missed field goal.
I learned that he was so depressed after the Super Bowl loss that he didn't leave his home for a week.
