ProFootballTalk.com has accused Ron Jaworski of purposely putting out a false rumor that Randy Moss hasn't signed his contract with the New England Patriots as a way of getting even with the Patriots because Bill Belichick and Tom Brady didn't show up to receive awards from the Maxwell Club , which is a group that Jaws resides over as President.
It is true that Jaworski went on Jody Mac 950 radio show and said that Randy Moss hadn't signed his contract with the Patriots and was having trouble agreeing to the details with the football team. I since found out that there is no truth to that charge.
In fact Moss' agent, Tim DiPierio told ProFootballTalk.com that the contract is signed and sealed. That salary is reported on NFLPA website and that wouldn't be the case if the contract hadn't been signed.
As it turns out, it's a lot to do about nothing.
