If that were a championship fight you can believe they would have closed that cut. Trainers of fighters have closed a million cuts in Madison Square Garden but the Nova trainers couldn't get this one closed and it led to their defeat.
The shame of it is that this could have also cost them a NCAA tournament bid. They beat Georgetown and I think they would have been a safe bet to get in the tourney. Now they've got to do a lot of praying out there on the Main Line.
