Texas tight end Jermichael Finley just told Sirius NFL Radio that he thinks he will get drafted in the bottom of the second round or late in the first, although he admits that he really doesn’t have any reason to know where he will go.
He didn’t submit any kind of inquiry to the league regarding his possible draft status.
When asked what teams have expressed the most interest in his services, he named the Jaguars, Panthers, Eagles and Jets.
The 6-5 240-pounder is taking off early from Texas, a rarity for the Big 12 school. He thinks a team will benefit from his receiving skills (4 catches for 149 yards and 1 TD against Oklahoma), but admits he needs to work on his blocking.
