Yes former Eagles cornerback Troy Vincent is on his way out as President of the NFL Players Association but it's because he's moving in place to be the heir apparent of Executive Director Gene Upshaw. He'll become the Assistant Executive Director and center Kevin Mawae will become the union president.
It makes sense because Vincent has been in place to replace Gene for years. He'll likely take the union in a different direction and focus more on being a union rather than being so involved in the football cards and computer games business.
