The Eagles will enter the first round looking to draft an offensive tackle they think can block speedy defensive ends. Their choices in the first round will be Boise State's Ryan Clady, Vanderbilt's Chris Williams and Pittsburgh's Jeff Otah.
You know the Eagles like to address their offensive and defensive lines in the first round. This draft is strong at the defensive end position so the Birds could grab one of them with their first pick.
The Eagles could grab one of three of the second tier defensive ends after Chris Long and Vernon Gholston go in the first five or six picks.
Philip Merling of Clemson is one of them and he is a good all around DE. He can play both the run and the pass. He's got some size standing 6'4" and weighing nearly 280 pounds.
Secondly, Derrick Harvey from Florida is a specimen who has the burst as a pass rusher and the size to play the run. Harvey runs a 4.6 in the forty and has the power to humble an offensive tackle.

Lawrence Jackson of USC is the final one of the trio and some think he might be the best. He plays faster than he times and has great technique when defending the run and the pass.

Who knows they could decide to grab a wide receiver and punt returner is diminutive, speedster Deshaun Jackson from University of California. If they were to grab him that woulf fulfill two spots, deep threat at wide receiver and a game-breaking punt returner.
There are other wideouts with better size but this guy is the only one with the exceptional return skills.
