The Eagles defense could be outstanding this year but the key will be the play of the boys upfront. I want Jim Johnson to make some severe changes in his defensive approach this season. He's got to take advantage the tremendous versatility of so many of their players.
If the Eagles can keep offenses off balance jumping back and forth from a 4-3 to a 3-4, so that the oposing quarterbacks and offensive lines don't know what to expect.
I'm excited while thinking about them utilizing Juqua Thomas, Chris Gocong, Trent Cole, and Stewart Bradley to confuse the offenses they face. Notice that all these players are any where from 6'2" to 6'4" and weigh any where from 240 to 270.
They can rush the passer as an defensive linemen and cover the short areas like a linebacker.
