Clemson's Phillip Merling is bigger than Gholston and Long. He is a defintie defensive end and isn't regarded as a tweener like Long and Gholston. Merling is a power rusher who must develop better technique in his game as he battles the bigger offensive linemen in the NFL.

Derrick Harvey has a burst off the corner despite being a 270 plus pound defensive end. He's a definite 4-3 defensive end and capable dominating a game. He has a never-stopping motor.
