I'm going to start giving you some Mock Drafts to give you a sense of what kind of position the Eagles will be in when they make their selection at the 19th spot in the first round. I examined a draft site and went over some of their choices and found it to be a joke.
The NFL Mock Draft by Gregory Cox of TheFootballExpert.com and Michael Abromowitz also of TheFootballExpert.com have the Eagles selecting wide receiver DeSean Jackson of the University of California. This could happen if the Birds put a premium on getting a wide receiver who also has the ability to be a top level punt returner.
Paul Eide of TheFootballExpert.com has the Birds grabbing cornerback/safety Reggie Smith of Oklahoma . I personally don't see anyway this could happen in the first round. The Eagles place a premium on their offensive and defensive lines. They are going look their first before getting a defensive back.
Jared Donnelly of TheFootballExpert.com has the Birds getting offensive guard Brandon Albert, who isn't even listed this high on any of the NFL teams' draft board. If the Birds take an offensive lineman in the first round it will be an offensive tackle.
Joey Bures of TheFootballExpert.com has the Eagles taking defensive end Quentin Groves of Auburn to replace Jevon Kearse. It says nothing about the fact that Victor Abiamiri and Chris Clemons are already in place to replace Kearse.
