The Eagles coaches and scouting staff have done a comprehensive evaluation of the talent on their football team. I decided to do the same thing and I started with the Eagles defense. I have taken a close look at the Birds and I believe that their weakest position is at safety.
I'm sure the Birds will draft a safety. I know Brian Dawkins says he's going to come back as strong as ever but the Eagles have to plan on him being over the hill. If Dawk is able to play like he has in the past it will allow them to bring the young safety along slowly.
I expect them to be looking for imiprovement in the defensive tackle postion by going after some depth behind Mike Patterson and Brodrick Bunkley. Victor Abiamiri has to come on strong at the left defensive end position.
