Jeff Garcia isn't happy with his contract.
He says he wants a new deal because of what he did a year ago for the Bucs by leading them to the playoffs.
Garcia is scheduled to make only a $2 million dollar salary this season. He's been negotiating with Tampa Bay and it hasn't been successful.
He says he's not a spring chicken so he doesn't want to wait for a good deal. This is the final year of the two-year deal he signed with the Bucs.
