Do you remember the pain of watching Brady Quinn sitting and seeing team after team pass him by.
a year ago at the draft. Well, Adam Schefter of NFL Network announced that there will be six players at the draft. They'll have to endure having cameras in their face as team either pick them or pass them.
You'll recognize the names of these six: Virginia defensive end Chris Long, Michigan tackle Jake Long, Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan, Ohio State linebacker/defensive end Vernon Gholston, LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, and Arkansas running back Darren McFadden.
The Miami Dolphins who have the first pick in the draft are reported to already be negotiating with Michigan offensive tackle Jake Long.
Another newspaper says that the Dolphins are in contract negotiations with both Long and Gholston. It makes sense to me because I think Gholston is a better fit for the Dolphins than Chris Long.
I guess it can't be that hard to sit there because you know you're going to be a rich man in a short while.
One of these guys could end up sitting there awhile, but I think they'll all be gone by pick number ten.
