I can understand the Trevor Laws pick because the Eagles don't have any depth at the defensive tackle position.
He's supposedly a high motor guy who makes a lot of plays from the defensive tackle spot. I wonder how big he is and how he'll be able to deal with the big and physical linemen you find at the guard positons in the NFL.
Laws will be expected to come in and earn plays in the rotation with Mike Patterson and Brodrick Bunkley.
Laws will be having a reunion with former Notre Dame teammate Victor Abiamir.. "We're real close friends," Laws said. "We were roommates for over a year. I talk to him on a weekly basis almost. It's really exciting to go to the same team as him."
There's not question that the play of that beast in New York, their former teammate Justin Tuck has raised the perception of Notre Dame defensive linemen.
This won't be like playing against Navy or Air Force.
