The Eagles got a lunch bucket guy when they drafted Pittsburgh offensive tackle Mike McGlynn.
He doesn't have exceptional athletcism and may wind up as a guard on the next level. McGlynn is an effort player who played the right tackle spot in college. Doesn't have the skills to play the left side.
Reid says McGlynn can play the center spot as well as guard and tackle. The head coach said he thinks McGlynn has some of the aggressiveness you see in Jon Runyan.
McGlynn has good size and could play both the guard and tackle position.
The pluses for this youngster is versatility and effort.
I think the Eagles already have guys like McGlynn on their bench.
