Eagles Get Another OT In Mike Gibson

Eagles get another offensive lineman in Mike Gibson this time from California.

His missed his last game because of concussions suffered in the previous two games.  That a reason to be concerned about this young man.

He's a 300 pounder who moves pretty good.  Check him out during his NFL Combine workouts.

He played both the left tackle and right tackle positions.  You can believe this kid's versatility is one of the main reasons Andy and the boys drafted him.

Here are Andy Reid's comments on the youngster.

“I mentioned the other picks earlier, so from the sixth round on here, we drafted a guard in Mike Gibson, out of California. Mike played tackle at California, both tackle [positions]. He was a right tackle [two seasons ago] and this past season, he was a left tackle. He’s played guard and center, so he gives us a little flexibility there.
