The Bryan Smith pick has me scratching my head a bit.
He's an undersized defensive end/linebacker. He only runs a 4.75 in the forty yard dash, but they say he's a very good pass rusher. I'm willing to wait and see but I don't see why the Eagles couldn't have waited to draft him.
Who was going to rush to draft this kid from McNeese State? He's a 230 pound defensive end a small school. Smith also is already 24 years old. He'll be twenty five during the upcoming season. With all of these negatives why draft him so early.
I hope the Eagles know something that I don't because I think they could have drafted this young man much later.
