Michael Strahan says he'll come back for $8 million dollars.
That's a lot of money for a defensive end who doesn't even play full time on a team with an abundance of pass rushers.
I think the Giants will probably try to resign him because he's a future Hall-Of-Famer who has played his entire career with New York. At the same time they don't have to sign him because they've got so many young pass rushers who could take over for him.
I could see them moving Justin Tuck outside to left defensive end and not missing a beat. On pass downs they would move Tuck inside to defensive tackle and bring in Mathias Kiwanuka to rush from the left defensive end position.
Strahan wants to make this negotiation public so that it puts pressure on the Giants to succumb to his wishes.
