Terrell Owens is going into the last year of his contract but he has no problem with it.
Owens talked to the media from his locker at the Cowboys Valley Ranch complex on Wednesday. He said repeatedly that the contract situation was no problem and would not be a problem. He went so far as to say that he hasn't even thought about the contract. It's a tremendous about face for Owens from his days with the Eagles.
The big and athletic wide receiver protested loudly when he was an Eagle but now he's a new man and a much better team player. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo offered supporting words of T.O. and talked about what a great teammate he is.
You might remember Owens crying after the Cowboys playoff loss to the Giants because fans and media were blaming the loss on Romo who had taken his then girlfriend Jessica Simpson to Mexico for a couple of days immediately after the season during Dallas' bye week. He constantly attacked Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb when he was a Bird.
