Eagles aren’t the only team working on shifting running backs outside to wide receiver positions.
The Dallas Cowboys are working on formations where they shift rookie Felix Jones outside to the slot position so they can get more speed on the field.  Have you heard that from somebody else recently?
You going to see this adjustment made more and more and it will change the defensive personnel for most teams.  Hard hitting safeties like Roy Williams and  John Lynch who have trouble covering receivers who have speed, are becoming extinct.
Speed kills on the expressway and on the football field.
