I’m Not Sold On Cowboys

The experts are getting on the Cowboys bangwagon but I'm not buying it.

There's been much hype about how good Dallas is going to be and I can see what people are talking about.

Like or hate Jerry Jones, you've got to admit the guy is committed to do everything he can to win.

The Cowboys have added middle linebacker Zach Thomas and it should make them better against the run.  He's not a spring chicken so I don't know how much he's got left in the tank.  Credentials don't make plays.

Dallas has also added the cornerback formerly known as “Pacman”.  Adam Jones and his skills can’t help but benefit the Dallas defense.  He’s a big-time playmaker and ball hawk but he could bring more distractions to Dallas.

This guy could go off at any minute whether on the field or off of it.  The Cowboys hope he makes headlines on the field rather than off of it, but all it takes is one bad decision and the experiment will be over.

If things pan out for him, it will put teams in a bind as to which side to throw at.  Terence Newman is an outstanding corner who teams like staying away from but Jones could force them to throw at him anyway.

The dude is also capable of taking over games as a punt returner.

I'm impressed with all the talent the Cowboys have put together but they still have a major problem.  Tony Romo can't get it done in the playoffs.  He doesn't play okay, he's been horrible.

In their entire careers, he and Wade Phillips have a total of ZERO playoff wins.  Need I say anything else.  If this had happened in Negadelphia, Phillips and Romo would be forced to leave town.
