McNabb Getting Ball Out Of His Hand

Donovan McNabb said he's a different quarterback now.

He admitted that in the past he would hold onto the ball and try to buy time with his legs in order to give his receivers  more time to get open.  He also was admitting to having the habit of not letting the ball go if he receivers were tightly covered.  Previously he waited to see seperation before letting the ball go.

McNabb said he's going to try to give his wide receivers as many chances as possible to make plays.  He said he's making it a point to try to get the ball out of his hands quicker than he has in the past.

He said he wants to believe in and trust his receivers and he wants his receivers to believe in and trust in him.

McNabb said he can't scramble 14 seconds any more to give his receivers a chance to get open.  He's got to get the ball out of his hand in order to succeed.

I felt like getting up and giving him a standing ovation because I believe this will make him a better quarterback.  I also think he's going to realize even more of why it's so important that he has big time talent at the receiver position.

DeSean Jackson and Hank Baskett both said they like the fact that McNabb has that type of confidence in them.
