Donovan McNabb can't fall for the bait with Terrell Owens.
I thought Owens had grown out of playing these silly little games. All this nonsense about trouble in his relationship with McNabb is a way to get more attention.
If the main problem here in Philly was his relationship with McNabb then why was his agent Drew Rosenhaus asking the Eagles to give him a new contract. If the problem was McNabb then why was his agent talking about it.
Owens can't make his mind up. At one point, he tells everybody that the problem for him leaving Philly was his contract. At another time, it was his relationship with McNabb.
I think the truly jealous teammate in this relationship was T.O. himself, who didn't like the fact that McNabb had a long-term $100 million contract.
Owens was the one going in front of the media and complaining about McNabb. McNabb wasn't going before the media saying anything about him until T.O. started blasting him.
I don't want to hear Donovan say one single word about all of this. Let Owens talk. McNabb can't clear this up by saying anything so don't bother with it. Five should just focus on the upcoming game and do his talking out there.
