Donovan McNabb is in denial. The Eagles aren't as good as any of the teams in the NFC East right now.
"There is no way this team is better than us," McNabb said. When challenged with the fact that they had just lost to the Redskins he refused to back down.
"It doesn't make a difference," McNabb said. "Does that mean they're better than us? I don't see it that way."
I see nothing wrong with him standing up for his team, but after getting beaten by a team it makes no sense to say you are better.
They can't run the ball on the level of any of the teams in the NFC East. If you give any of these other NFC East teams the ball on their opponents two-yard line, they will run it in the end zone. The Eagles have shown us that they're not tough enough to push the ball into the end zone.
Well I looked at the game and the Skins are better than the Eagles right now and more importantly they were better than the Birds yesterday during the game.
