It's going to interesting to see what Donovan McNabb has to say today about the reaction to his overtime tie comments.
How could he have not realized that this was going to be a major controversy? Even after he made the comments, he continued on talking about the Super Bowl and the playoffs. He was digging himself in deeper.
He shouldn't come out with any excuses later today. He shouldn't play the victim as if somebody was out to get him. He should acknowledge that it was a mistake on his part and that he will do everything he can to help the team win.
If he gets up there and starts coming up with all types of excuses, he's going to lose more supporters.
