There is no way in the world that Andy Reid can gain Donovan McNabb's confidence ever again.
He pulled him out of a game where the team was trailing 10-7. The Eagles still had the chance to come back and win the game.
Yeah, he wasn't playing well but this was the last half of a game they had to win in order to have any chance of making the playoffs.
After the game Reid said he hasn't made up his mind who will start at quarterback on Thursday. That may be true but I'll guarantee you that McNabb will never be comfortable playing quarterback for Reid again.
On top of that, Reid doesn't have enough guts to look him in the eye and tell him that he is benched.
Remember, he's the face of the franchise and the first player that Reid ever drafted. He has been the starting quarterback for ten years, yet Reid doesn't have enough guts to look him in his face and tell him that he's sitting him down.
That says everything about Andy Reid and why he should be shown the door.
How can the other players respect a coach who would be that cowardly?
You know what McNabb is saying right now about a coach who kicked him overboard.
