Andy Reid just announced that Donovan McNabb will be the starting quarterback on Thursday night.
In an astonishing move, Reid has reinstated McNabb as the starter despite pulling him from the game yesterday in the battle with the Ravens.
Reid emphasized that they want to move ahead from the loss to Baltimore. He says he wanted McNabb to get the chance to step back from the situation and go back out and attack it.
Reid says the six turnovers is not what McNabb is all about. He says he's confident McNabb will work through the problems he's had.
He said he felt the decision to sit down McNabb was a good decision. He wanted McNabb to be able to step back and get a different perspective.
Reid says he doesn't go directly to players to bench them but has his assistants approach the players to tell them that they're benched.
