I'm sure everybody knows now that Donovan McNabb's wife Roxie delivered twins late on Monday night.
But the question which is pondered on Philly.com is about how much McNabb's wife's pregnancy affected him over the last month or so. Was Roxie's pregnancy one fo the reasons McNabb struggled so severely against the Bengals and Ravens?
Rich Hofmann weighs in on it and plays the middle of the field. Ashley Fox gives her opinion on the situation and tells that it definitely affected McNabb.
That's too difficult a question for me to answer. I don't think McNabb should be ducking behind it. He didn't bring it up and he didn't say that it wasn't a problem.
I think he should have shot down any thought that his wife's pregnancy hurt his play. It's not a legitimate excuse because you're not supposed to let off the field issues mess up your game.
I don't know what the issues were involved with her pregnancy. What did the doctors tell McNabb and his wife? If you don't know the answer to that question, it's probably impossible to make a definitive statement about how it affected Donovan.
