McNabb was asked again about whether his benching helped get the rest of the team going. He had to admit that they're playing better. You could hear that the benching wasn't something that he enjoyed.
He again admitted that the team was playing much better. After saying that he again stated that he didn't think the benching was needed. It doesn't matter how many times he is asked about it and reminded that the team is playing better.
McNabb refuses to admit that maybe his benching was a good decision and maybe one of the reasons he is playing better.
There were a lot of questions about the wide receivers. The group has really rounded into their roles. DeSean Jackson, Kevin Curtis, Hank Baskett, Jason Avant and Greg Lewis have become a very effective group.
McNabb didn't even mention former starter Reggie Brown.
He would go so far as to say that this group of receivers was better than 2004 group which went to the Super Bowl. McNabb had to come out and defend that 2004 group but he didn't mention Terrell Owens by name.
