McNabb Should Look At Self First

I was disappointed to read what Donovan McNabb had to say after the game.  He should apologize to his teammates for making those comments.

The following comments were made by McNabb after the game and they weren't honorable remarks for a good teammate.  He shouldn't be pointing the finger of blame at the defense.  He should be pointing it at himself first..

"You know to go up and put yourself in position to win and you're sitting on the sidelines just awaiting that opportunity, and team's just eating clock up, trying to keep you off the field, and we've been a part of that five or six times since I've been here, and seen it so many times, that they've tried to keep our offense off the field and just be successful running the ball," McNabb said.

"You know, I told the offense 'Hey, you know all we have to do is just get one. We get one and everything else will follow,'" McNabb added. "And we see everything happening. Then we also see, being on the sideline, seeing it taken away from us so tip your hat off to them."

The defense didn't come through with the game on the line but McNabb and the offense also failed with the game on the line.  The offense didn't run out of time, they just didn't get the job done.

He should publicly apologize to his teammates for making those comments.  He should be looking at how the offense failed with the game on the line.  You look at yourself first.

You win together and you lose together.  It's as simple as that.

How would he feel if one of the defensive players were quoted as saying, it was hard for them to stand on sideline and see incompletions whiles balls fell on the turf as the seconds were ticking off the clock.

He made a mistake, now he should stand up and say I should look at my play first.
