Anquan Boldin was non committal at the Pro Bowl about whether he wants to remain a Cardinal.
"We will see what happens in the next couple weeks," Boldin said. "I still love playing with those guys in the locker room, I still love the fans out in Arizona. My whole thing is with the organization and no one else…I'm not sure [if I will return in 2009]."
I think the Eagles chances of landing him are slim because Arizona quarterback Kurt Warner is unsigned and still up in the air about returning.
You know the Cardinals are going to be willing to go a bit further to sign Boldin, which make the team more attractive for Warner to return.
If Warner were signed and sure to return, they would probably tell Boldin he's got to play out his contract, which would precipitate a war with the prideful wide receiver.
Boldin has two years left on his current contract. His teammate Larry Fitzgerald makes about two times as much as Boldin.
