Who is Alex Rodriguez kidding? He wasn't telling the whole truth yesterday. I'm not losing sleep about it, but come on. A-rod wasn't a kid when he was taking those steroids. He had been in the Majors for five years but he's going to say he was a stupid kid who didn't know what he was doing.
I do give him credit for taking some of the responsibility for his actions. There were over 100 other MLB players who came up dirty on that test, yet the only name to come out was A-Rod. Why is that?
The guys who should be investigated is Bud Selig and his crew in the MLB league office, who looked the other way when steroids was running rampant in the league with Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa.
All the New York Yankee fans are talking about is "we hope A Rod gets some big hits in the playoffs and World Series". The conversations around the rest of the nation are about his steroid use.
As far as the A Rod thing from a moral standpoint, he got caught cheating in a nation where it has become more and more accepting of cheating. We've got people cheating all over and in every area of our society.
