I heard a guy call in this morning to the Morning Show on 610-WIP and he hit the Donovan McNabb situation on the head.
He said this situation is much like a mechanic who is working at a car dealership, who is told to fix an automobile that has been brought in for service.
The mechanic examines the car and checks the tools that are in the shop to work on the vehicle, then he tells the shop owner that he doesn’t have the proper tools to do the job.
The shop owner responds, “Do the job any way.”
That’s the mentality of some media members and many Eagles fans
This is the epitome of what goes on here in Philadelphia year after year. It doesn’t matter what type of weapons the Eagles surround him with, if they don’t win a championship then it’s McNabb’s fault.
This is why McNabb would want to start making some demands. He knows that regardless of what happens, he’s going to be the guy blamed if the season doesn’t end with Super Bowl championship.
