Owens Signs With The Bills

Today, Terrell Owens agreed to a one year deal with the Buffalo Bills.  It didn't take long for Drew Rosenhaus to make good on his claim that teams were interested T.O.

The Bills called a 6:15 p.m. news conference Saturday to announce the signing.

Buffalo gave Owens $6.5 million for a year.  The pressure will be on Owens to be a team player and be productive.

This will be a change for Owens beause he'll be playing in a small market.  Previously he had played in San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys.

Owens could make the Bills a much better offense if he doesn't do his usual dividing act. Trent Edwards is a solid young quarterback and Mashawn Lynch is an outstanding young running back.

Wide receiver Lee Evans can get deep on any secondary and when you combine that with an Owens on the other side and Lynch running with the football, you know the Bills will have some weapons.

The Bills only problems will be keeping Lynch out of suspension and Owens under control when they don't throw the ball to him.

I think the Bills may get a good trouble-free year out of Owens because they've got him signed for one season.

Reports say that Bills owner Ralph Wilson forced the coaching staff to take T.O. because  Wilson needs somebody to draw the fans to the ballpark.
