The Eagles may take a shot at moving up to get one of the top four offensive tackles depending on how far they fall in the first round. Regardless they know they must come out of this draft with a OT, TE & RB.
Knowshon Moreno is a complete back, which is what they want to have in place behind Brian Westbrook.
Eben Britton is a technically sound tackle but he doesn’t have the upside of the top four. They would have to play him on the right side rather than the left.
Regardless of what they eventually decide to do, the Eagles will be very busy talking to other teams, once the draft gets to pick #10 and there are any of the offensive tackles still on the board.
Draft experts are starting to predict that there will be six offensive tackles picked in the first round. The Eagles could very well wind up being one of the teams that makes that choice.
If they didn’t take a tight end in the first round they have extra picks to help them trade up in the 2nd round in order to get Shawn Nelson a tight end out of Southern Mississippi.
