Okay Donovan McNabb said something on his Yardbarker blog about the departure of Brian Dawkins, Tra Thomas and a few other veterans but that won't be enough..
You had a number of media people saying he should say something about the departure of Dawkins and Thomas. Now that he has communicated his feelings about the matter, you're going to hear somebody say that he should say more.
He should have a news conference. Of course this is self-serving by the media because that makes our jobs easier. If he says ten words we can break down that down for a month. I want to see the day come, when McNabb stops trying to please everybody.
He should speak when he wants to speak and say what he really means because it's going to get analyzed and criticized even if he says, Hi and bye.
Now we're going to have all of the psychologists in the media start to break down everything he meant on Yardbarker by reading between the lines. This is the favorite sport here in Philadelphia. Reading Donovan McNabb's mind and putting words in his mouth.
There must something in what he said which let us get mad at him about something else. Before too long, you will have somebody accusing McNabb of being the cause of Dawkins' departure. Just give it some time.
