I'm taking the Louisville Cardinals in my NCAA pool. I've got them taking down Pittsburgh in the final. Why? Because I'm absolutely guessing like everyone else.
As for my upsets, here are a few. And you can take these to the bank because all of my picks in any sport are spot on. Never been wrong once:
Arizona over Utah in the first round. Oh no he didn't! I did.
Maryland over Cal isn't too much of an upset there. It's the 10-7 game.
Temple over Arizona St.? Oh yeah.
How about Texas taking out Duke in the second round? I love Duke in these tournament pools. They always have a high seed and so many people get their brackets busted by sending them through to the Final Four. I have them out early.
I have Syracuse "upsetting" Oklahoma in the Sweet 16, but I don't think it's going to happen. Wish I didn't do that.
Other than that, I'm not too much of a gambler with these sheets. A good way to stop enjoying the tournament is to send North Dakota St. to the Final Four. So I usually stick to the high seeds. I want to see the one person that had George Mason going all that way a couple years ago. I don't think their coach had them going that far.
