A league source tells PFT that the Bills are shopping their speedy little kick returner/WR Roscoe Parrish.
When I first read that I was surprised, but the more I think about it, it makes sense. He's dynamite on special teams, but they have Leodis McKelvin now to handle return duties.
Also, consider the sheer number of wide receivers they have on the roster. Lee Evans and Terrell Owens make one of the best starting tandems in the league. They drafted James Hardy in the second round last year (mistake) and they still have Josh Reed, who was a second-round pick a few years back. Parrish was a second rounder (they love using second-round picks on WR's) back in 2005. And now they really like their seventh-round pick from last year, Steve Johnson. I think he was a steal.
He's never really excelled on the offensive side of the ball, but Parrish is absolute lightning with the ball in his hands. He's definitely a playmaker and I'd be curious what the Bills want for him.
The source tells PFT that it's more explatory than anything else, but I think he's a decent trade chip and one who is expendable to the Bills. For the Eagles, it might be worth a phone call and a tire-kicking. He could help on returns and add some speed to the offense.
