Former Eagles and Raiders players personnel director Michael Lombardi of NationalFootballPost.com has some items in his blog this weekend which might upset you. Key players are available but Eagles aren't interested.
Lombardi says the Browns have Brady Quinn and Braylon Edwards are on the trading block and can be had for a 1st round draft pick. I've learned that the Eagles aren't interested in Edwards, despite the fact that they could have him for a late first round pick.
Later on he wrote, "The Falcons are seriously considering trading for Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez and might even give up their second-round pick to make the deal."
Gonzalez could be had for a second round pick but I don't think the Eagles are interested.
He also wrote, "The Eagles are interested in Buffalo’s Jason Peters, and many teams I talked to seem to think the Bills will trade him."
There have been reports that they haven't talked but that might not be the truth. If it's going to happen, it'll happen on the day before or on the day of the draft.
